Pastor Trell is husband to Lauren and daddy to Oakland Bakari. He was born and raised in southern Georgia, and spent his college years in middle Tennessee after signing a football scholarship to Cumberland University. He is currently studying for his MDiv at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. The Lord saved Pastor Trell in adolescence and he began serving the church vocationally in 2016. In addition to his seminary education, he also completed the intensive Pastoral Internship of Capitol Hill Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Mark Dever. Pastor Trell's hobbies include working out, reading, hunting, fishing, hiking, eating all things edible and non-spicy, and spending time doing any and everything with his wife and their son.

Pastor Trell primarily serves Pioneer through preaching & teaching, leading the pastors, deacons, & staff, counseling/shepherding, and with general leadership & disciple-making within the congregation. He also serves in other ways within Rock Hill and beyond, regularly contributing to content for the 9Marks organization and currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Life House Women's Shelter.

Pastor Brogan was born and raised in Rock Hill, SC, spending his first 21 years in the area. While attending Winthrop University, he served with a local church plant for three and a half years, until moving to Raleigh, NC for seminary. While in Raleigh, he continued to lead others in song through Imago Dei Church. He completed his MDiv in May of 2021 from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Pastor Brogan’s hobbies include playing guitar and piano, soccer, hiking, and running.

Pastor Brogan primarily serves Pioneer through leading the congregation in musical worship, teaching, and making disciples.

Pastor Larry grew up in Rutherford County in the foothills of North Carolina. He moved to Hendersonville, NC to earn an associates degree at Fruitland Baptist Bible College. During his time at Fruitland, he met his wife, Emily, who he married in 2015 after completing his BA at the College at Southeastern. He completed his MDiv. in 2023 from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. During that time and while earning those degrees, Larry and his wife, Emily, were blessed with four children - Ellis, Knox, Eleanor, and Judah. Pastor Larry is currently serving as a chaplain in the greater Charlotte area. His hobbies include biking, reading, sports, and spending time with his family. 



Pastor Russ was born in North Carolina and lived most of his life near Raleigh, NC. He attended Emmanuel College and then North Carolina State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education. He taught high school for 24 years in NC. Over the 10 years, he has served at Redeemer Community Church in Fuquay Varina as a non-staff elder. He and his family decided to move to Rock Hill for a year to help plant Pioneer, but have ended up staying to continue service. Although he is excited to be in SC, he is an avid sports fan, loving all things NCSU Wolfpack, Panther, Hurricane and Hornet. He is the husband of Kate, and father to Emma, Elijah, Matthew, Zachary, Jonathan, and MonaJean who went to be with the Lord in January of 2023.
